The Time is NOW

“A TIME IS COMING AND HAS NOW COME

WHEN THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS 

WILL WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH

MUST WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH”

What does that mean? You may not be familiar or concerned with the Old Testament, the 

Jewish Tanakh (sometimes called the Hebrew Bible) contains 24 books divided into three parts: 

• 5 books of the Torah ("teaching") 

• 8 books of the Nevi'im ("prophets")

• 11 books of Ketuvim ("writings")

Or the New Testament of Yeshua, or the Brit Chadashah. You will hear songs from Voice of the Shepherd that have been humbly set to music, many stories, nuggets of God's wisdom

scriptures and actual acts of Yeshua and then, maybe you will begin to understand why we love to set The Word of God to music as Voice of the Shepherd.

Hasn't all humanity been waiting for a Messiah; a Deliverer?

Going back only about 2000 years ago, just a blip in human history and a drop in the ocean of God's creation of this planet and its life, we can see how Judaism was born with the promise of a Messiah. Moses, Moshe, delivered the Jewish people out of Pharoah's bondage and led them into the Exodus to the Promised Land. I believe that God has always given Himself; His attributes and virtues at the time when we need them the most. The Hebrews needed freedom; hence a Messiah.

We may have common knowledge, if we have had any Christian influence in our lives, that Jesus, Yeshua is the next Messiah (Promised One) in Jewish Prophecy that many Jewish people have been and still are waiting for...Christianity was birthed but many Jewish Christians kept their heritage and traditions and embraced this Messiah we know as Jesus...they were ridiculed, persecuted and many times disowned, disfellowshipped, and even killed for "abandoning their Faith". But we know that God is so much bigger than that. 

Humanity must have needed a Teacher and one who would bring the Grace and Truth of God to us...we were beginning to be more "teachable" as a people and relationship, personal connectedness to God and seeing the miracles of Yeshua drew us to SEE the attributes of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, righteousness, faith and gentleness and self-control.

The time is coming and has now come!!! What does that mean for us today??? 

Maybe that amid this CoVid 19 Pandemic that God it means that NOW is the time to allow God to help us bear the grief and disappointments and losses and pains that this has brought. To allow these circumstances to draw us closer to the wisdom of God's Word and for us, it is to share our music, The Word of God in music so that you too, may hear what we have heard. Without being presumptive and with much humility; we believe we hear the voice of God...We share the music of the Voice of the Shepherd out of our own pain, loss, suffering and turning and trusting in God. We pray that you also hear the Voice of the Shepherd. We bring a message of Oneness of God and people. "There shall be One flock, there shall be One fold, and One Shepherd o'er the sheep" (from the song, "Voice of the Shepherd", #17) 

The time is coming and HAS NOW COME!!!
